My Portfolio

Crochet:
This the very first item I crocheted! I was thinking that it was going to look so good on as I was finishing up before putting it all together. I put it on and I immediately hated it after being so excited to try it on. I realized that using a smaller hook really does make a difference in the outcome of yout project and it was a good first learning experience to improve from next time. I ended up actually taking it a apart later on to make a cardiagan for my mom so you'll have to scroll some more if you'd like to see that!

This is the second item I crocheted, which is a project I am actually pretty proud of considering that I took on a more complicated design for this one. I decided to make this one a turtleneck since it was a gift for my sister and also added a cable design in the center and ruffly bottom border.

I am so happy with the glow up that my first sweater had after being made into a cardigan! It actually took less yarn even though it came out bigger and longer. It's good to know how much of a difference the sizing of hooks and types of stitches can make!

More projects coming soon..!
